Epiphone Les Paul
Epiphone, which is a Gibson owned company, make around 20, official copies of the Les Paul and as they are made in places outside of the United States, using woods which are easier to source and as they do not have as much hand detailing the prices are dramatically cheaper. However, the dramatic price decrease doesn't represent a decrease in quality. Not only do these guitars still have great tones and sustain but they are perfect for those on a slightly tighter budget.
The Les Paul models are slightly heavier than your average guitar which helps give them their warm tonal qualities. So if you're after a Les Paul guitar, but are on a slightly tighter budget than getting an Epiphone official copy is probably your best bet!
