Fender American Stratocaster
The Stratocaster is probably one of the most popular and iconic guitars in music history. It was first made in 1954 and instantly became an American icon. Popular with artists such as Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton this guitar not only looks great, but makes the player look great too.
The difference between the American Strat and the standard Strat is that the American is built in Corona, CA - America, rather than where the Standard line are built in Ensenada, Mexico which allows for them to be slightly lower priced.
The Highway One series have were improved in 2006, with the 1970s styling and super sized frets, this guitar can produce round tones.
This is the new, iconic American Fender Stratocaster. It has an improved bridge that uses bent steel saddles, a richer neck colour with different choices of fingerboard buffed to a high gloss and the neck has a satin finish.
The American Deluxe Strat is build for speed but with the traditional look and feel of a Strat. It boasts three Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Strat pickups, S-1 switching system, abalone inlays, two-point synchronized tremolo with stainless steel saddles, and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The Telecaster hasn't changed much in the last 50 years of its production. This model is based of the '52 Telecaster and includes a single-ply black pick guard, 7.25”-radius fingerboard and original Tele circuit with three-position switch
