PRS SE
PRS have a range of guitar which aren't suitable for professional guitarists and are similar in standard to mid level Jackson guitars and Epiphone guitars. SE, Standing for Student Edition also means that they won't cost an arm and a leg to purchase. Manufactured in Korea and the use of lower quality tonal woods and opaque finishes help keep the overall cost of the guitar down. Production of PRS' SE guitars was started in the late 1990s. Though these models won't match the superior PRS models, but for the price reduction they offer some if the best value guitars than similar competitors, such as Fender's Squier company and Gibson's Epiphone company. For the price they can also boast a superior build quality than some of their direct competitors, for example rather than using a bolt on neck the PRS SE utilities a set neck system on every model.

This model is very affordable and still has the PRS craftsmanship with look and tone. This model is highly suited to rock music.
