These futuristic guitars started to be made in 1987 are made in Taiwan. most of the guitars in this range have 2 single coils, 1 humbucker and Yamaha's active pickups.
The RGX guitars were improved in 2003 with a 3+3 tuner layout and a 3D headstock amoungst other things.
