Vintage VEC Series
The VEC series of guitars are Electro Acoustics made by Vintage.This big-toned dreadnought style body also has a single cutaway facility. This model has an onboard preamp system which offers active circuitry, in this case a 3-band EQ, with master volume control. This model also has a handy battery check.
These well made guitars have a rosewood fingerboard and tortoiseshell pick guard. High quality, Grover® 102C Chrome pickups and well made, US manufactured strings.
The VEC1100 is a solid, well made guitar with a shadow preamp. With numerous controls, including Bass,Volume, Low, Mid, Hi Mid, Treble, Battery Check , Phase Reversal Switch it is a good electro acoustic to buy.
This is an acoustic bass which utilises the benefits of the on board EQ and preamp.
Vintage's VEC1400 has a solid Spruce top and solid Mahogany sides and uses Flame Maple for the binding. The soundhole uses Inlaid Abalone and the two way truss rod neck is made of mahogany. It utilises a Shadow® Piezo Transducer pickup and Grover Gold tuners
Similar to the rest in this range, however this one uses solid German Spruce for the top and solid Indian Rosewood for the back. The sides are made of solid Indian Rosewood and its bound with flame Maple. The soundhole uses Herringbone. It uses a high quality Shadow® Piezo Transducer pickup and has numerous controls (Volume, Pre Shape, Bass, Phase Reversal Switch).
